St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and it also happens to be Cameron's birthday. He'll be eight and one thing he still loves to do is get messy. Clorox Clean Up now makes getting messy fun and cleanup a breeze. On your mark get set, go green!

We're Irish and March 17th means party day in the Elliott household. Usually, the day is green, green, green but this year it will be green and messy thanks to Clorox Clean Up Recipes for Fun.

It's Cameron's party and he'll be green if he wants too...who wouldn't want to be green?

So in honor of Cameron's eighth birthday and St. Patrick's Day we're going to celebrate with green, messy fun. Since he loves to play with shaving cream Clorox Clean Up Recipes for Fun offers a great, fun messy green recipe. Shh, don't tell Cameron. It's a green surprise.

From the Arts and Crafts Category: Cameron's green surprise.

Icky Foam*

The Masterpiece:

This cool concoction delivers a satisfying squishiness and a bit of self-expression, yet still scores low on the mess-o-meter.

Ingredients For Fun:
  • Zipper-slide fastener sandwich bag
  • Paint or food coloring (In honor of St. Patty's Day we're going green of course!)
  • Shaving cream, unscented (This is a plus for me.Cameron is allergic to perfumes.)
  • Metal pushpin
How To Make It:
  1. Fill the sandwich bag 2/3 with shaving cream.
  2. Add a tablespoon of paint or food coloring.
  3. Squeeze out air and seal up bag.
  4. Squish the paint and foam together to make cool patterns and designs, and watch as the shaving cream turns colors inside bag.
  5. Take the bag outside and poke a small hole in it with pushpin to “decorate” the sidewalk like a pastry chef.
* Make sure you supervise all cooking and craft creativities. I recommend food coloring. It's natural based and much easier to deal with than paint.

Clorox Clean Up Recipes for Fun offers many great fun recipes in four categories you can try with your kids. Have a messy party, let the kids go wild. Be outrageous, be spontaneous, be a kid! And thanks to Clorox Clean Up Recipes for Fun you can be messy and not worry about the clean up. I know I'm going to be a little messy and a little green with envy when Cameron's birthday rolls around.

Create a mess with your kids. Whether it's a special occasion like St. Patrick's Day(when you can act like a mischievous leprechaun) or maybe you can create your own special Messy Holiday, have fun and get messy... What are you waiting for?

And as for me I'll clean too with Clorox Clean Up! Look out Icky Foam here I come...
Next time you see me I might be a green leprechaun or a little green Martian, with Cameron who knows. It's his party and I'll be green if he wants me too!
