Minute Rice Makes Family Mealtime Magic--#LoveEveryMinute

My family loves rice and being from the South there are so many easy, quick, and delicious dishes I can whip up to satisfy my hungry bunch. With Minute® Rice mealtime has become even more quick and easy. It's like creating a bowl of magic!

One of my family's favorite mealtime rice dishes is rice, tomatoes, and smoked sausage. I love it because it only takes three ingredients to make a great meal. It's also a very economical meal for those families on a budget.

1 box 7 oz Minute Rice
1 13 oz package of beef smoked sausage
2 cans 14.5 oz diced garlic and onion tomatoes
salt to taste

Cook rice as directed, cut sausage into bite size pieces, microwave sausage about 2 minutes, add to cooked rice, drain tomatoes and add to rice-sausage mixture. Serves 4.

This yummy dish serves 4-8. What I like about this quick rice dish is it can be served the next day for lunch or dinner. It makes enough to serve 4-8 family members. 

You can make mealtime magic with this yummy dish or create something new with Minute® Rice by serving your family some yummy goodness that fills them up.

The great thing about this dish is you can change it to your family's taste. If your family doesn't like smoke sausage, you can substitute with your family's favorite meat or even go meatless. Add you favorite spices to boost the flavor if your family prefers their rice spicy.  Choose a different tomato flavor, add colorful bell peppers or your family's favorite. Whatever your choose the quick and easy rice dish is sure to please your hungry family.
