Heaven is for Real for Little Ones Review and Giveaway

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 12:00 AM
Disclosure: I received a copy from Tommy Nelson Mommy in exchange for my honest review. However, all opinions are my own.

Description

Heaven is for real, and you are going to like it!
Colton Burpo came back from his trip to heaven with a very important message: Jesus really, really loves children. In an effort to reach even more families with this eternally significant story, Heaven Is For Real is now simplified and told in a board book format for little ones. Young children will receive the same comfort and assurance that so many older kids have received from the picture book.
Beautifully illustrated under Colton's direction, Heaven Is for Real for Little Ones can help parents introduce the concept of heaven to toddlers and preschoolers. It’s never too early to let children know that Jesus really loves them and has a special place for them in heaven!

*#1 bestselling trade book and children’s picture book now available for younger children
*Simplified telling of Colton’s story and child-friendly art encourages little ones that Jesus really, really loves them
*Parents and grandparents can introduce the concept of heaven to toddlers and preschoolers

When I received my Tommy Nelson Mommy Newsletter last month one of the selections was Heaven is for Real for Little Ones . This cute board book is geared toward ages 1-4, but I chose it because I knew my 9 year old grandson would have a lot of questions about Heaven. You see, my daughter, his only aunt recently passed away and I really didn't know how I would explain Heaven to him. Heaven is for Real for Little Ones is the perfect book to explain Heaven to your little ones or even older children who may not understand. It's not complicated and an easy read.
If your child is asking a lot of questions about Heaven or experienced the loss of a loved one then this is a great book to share with the entire family.
Heaven is for Real for Little Ones retails for $7.99 or you can enter the Rafflecopter below to win a copy.

My kids don't talk nonstop about it but they are inquisitive and curious so they talk about it once in a while. Thanks.

My little niece doesn't really describe it much ~ she is just starting to grasp it. But I try to talk to her about it when I see her. I have read and re-read the Heaven is for Real book and I can only imagine how good this one must be!

No ~ as far as I know she doesn't talk nonstop about her faith as of yet, my nephew has just started taking her to church so she does ask a lot of general questions for a 3 year old.

I describe Heaven to my children as a place we go to when we pass on, that is beautiful, God and Jesus are there, along with angels, our loved ones who have gone on, and animals/pets. I've had 8 miscarriages, so we know that those babies are waiting there for us too and we can't wait to see them : )

Thank you! : )
