Shadow Chaser Review and Giveaway

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 10:03 AM
Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from Tommy Nelson Mommy to review. All opinions are my own.

Description

Join part angel Jonah Stone as he faces his biggest challenge yet!
Many months have passed since part angel siblings Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah Stone began their angelic training. As part angels, or quarterlings, the siblings joined other children of nephilim to begin honing their special powers.
In this third installment in the Son of Angels series, Jonah’s story comes to resemble a modern-day Job as he’s faced with trials that affect his health, strength, relationships, and most-prized possessions. As he and the other quarterlings prepare for mid-term exams, their powers are tested once again in the most fierce battle against Abaddon’s forces yet. Will Jonah’s faith in Elohim continue to persevere as he fights Abaddon in his hardest battle yet?
Parents today are looking for fiction that makes Christianity and the Bible exciting for their kids. This series is the first Christian answer to Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Kane Chronicles, the Secret Series, and other middle-grade series packed with action, adventure, and supernatural fights. But the message is solidly based in Scripture, conveying God is always in control.

My nine year old grandson loves adventure and Shadow Chaser provides page after page of on your seat adventure. Although, he started with book #3 in the series, he doesn't feel lost among the pages. If your pre-teen is craving adventure then Shadow Chaser is the ticket to one of the greatest, exciting adventure's they could ever go on and not leave home.

Shadow Chaser
*ages 8-11
*Book #3 in an exciting adventure series that brings spiritual warfare to life for kids in a way that is safe and solidly based in Scripture
*This wholesome and hopeful series stands out in a sea of too-dark titles that deal with the supernatural in ways that often make parents feel uncomfortable

I have great news for my discerning parent's, Shadow Chaser is on sale at Tommy Nelson for only $7.49(retail $9.99) or you can enter to win a copy on the Rafflecopter below. Whatever you choose, your child will get a great book!

I think the most exciting portion is how Jerel Law uses action and excitement to bring scripture to life in a relatable way to young teens. My son LOVES Spirit Fighter and Fire Prophet. He's excited to read Shadow Chaser as well :)

I found it very encouraging for a young boy that would drop to his knees & open his arms, heart & life to God. I have not read any of these books yet but would love to have a look at them for my grandchildren.

I felt for him when he was sitting there looking at a picture of his family.

Will Jonah have the strength, power and determination to face adversity. It is going to be interesting to read about Jonah's adventure.. Think this is one series my granddaughters would love to read and mom would approve of them reading it..
