God and Me Book Review and Giveaway- #tommymommy #spon #giveaway #review

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 12:00 AM 7 comments
Disclosure: I'm a Tommy Nelson Mommy and received this book free. However, all opinions are my own.

Does your child know God? Your first instinct is probably to answer yes, but can you honestly say your child "knows" God? I thought my grandson really knew God, but I was wrong. Of course he knows who God is, but Nicholas really didn't have a personal relationship with God until he read God and Me.

This wonderful book helps your child discover a personal relationship with God as it helped my grandson. Filled with colorful pictures and short devotions, it's the absolute book to introduce your child to God.

My grandson spend hours getting to personally know God through God and Me. He reads a devotion a day. God and Me is filled with 365 short daily devotions perfect for a child just learning about God or a child who has lost his/her way.

Description:

Featuring colorful photographs and short devotions with Scripture and prayers, this book will appeal to parents looking to introduce a relationship with God to little ones.
God and Me aims to help children find out all about God: what He is like, how He cares for them, and how He wants them to live in His world. Familiar situations and everyday experiences encourage children to think about Christian values, a simple way of introducing a lifelong relationship with God.
Bite-sized devotions will keep the attention of younger children. Four-color photographs will help engage children with the message in the devotional. Each day includes a topical Scripture and a prayer to help children develop their relationship with God.

As a grandparent, I recommend God and Me if you want your child to have a personal relationship with God. You can purchase God and Me for $19.99 at Thomas Nelson or enter to win a copy on the Rafflecopter below.

The 5 Love Languages of Children Book Review

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 3:21 PM 0 comments
Disclaimer: "I received a copy of this book from the publisher for the purpose of this review."

My child is border line autistic and The 5 Love Languages of Children is the perfect solution for any parent who struggles with a special needs child. Dr. Gary Chapman and Dr. Ross Campbell share a plethora of structured information along with the keys to the  5 Love Languages of Children. Each "love" language opened a new way I treated my child and it also makes you take a look at yourself as a parent.   The 5 Love Languages of Children not only gives your guidance, but shows you how to react instead of detach.

If you are struggling as a parent to understand your child's "language" this is one book you need! If it can help me, it can help you!

Disclosure: I'm a Purex Insider and received a free product in exchange for this review. However, all opinions are my own.

NEW Dial® Vitamin Boost Body Wash gives your skin a daily boost of vitamins. The advanced formula contains a moisturizing Vitamin Complex, which helps draw moisture directly to your skin leaving your skin feeling so healthy and soft, people can't help but notice!

I grew up using Dial soap. It was the only soap my mom would use and the only soap as I got older my family used. Now, I still love the bar soap, but Dial Body Wash is so much more convenient for my hurried family. When I got the opportunity to try NEW Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash, I was thrilled. Dial is a name I can trust, so I knew I would get an awesome product and the new  NEW Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash didn't disappoint! I received the Amazing B infused with vitamin B kiwi scented body wash which lasts even after you get out of the bath. The thick body wash is like a silky lotion and the lather is so luxurious. The NEW Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash is a body wash for the entire family. My grandson loves to jump in the tub in a middle of foaming suds.
