Moscow Ballet’s acclaimed Great Russian Nutcracker at Birmingham’s Alabama Theatre Sun, Nov. 29th-Review-@moscowballet @usfg

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 1:19 PM 0 comments
Disclosure: I received two complimentary tickets in exchange for a review from USFamilyGuide. However, all opinions are my own.

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a ballerina, but my dreams faded as I got older. When I got the opportunity to see the Moscow Ballet perform the Great Russian Nutcracker at the legendary Alabama Theatre on Saturday, I was thrilled! However, there were a few disappointments, but not with the performance. Due to the seats my daughter and I were provided, we did not have a great view of the entire performance and missed a lot of spectacular scenes. Also, we were not allowed to take pictures during the performance, which was very disappointing.

My daughter and I dressed in our holiday best as we headed out the go see Moscow Ballet’s acclaimed Great Russian Nutcracker.

As we arrived at the theatre, people were already gathered and packed in like sardines. There was no room to move. We didn't have time to take pictures before the start of the show. Sadly, we also missed the performance of Birmingham Girl's Choir because of seating.

Getting ready for the show to begin.

And the curtain goes up

During the entire performance there were two acts. I have to say my favorite part of the entire ballet was the second act. The little children from the Alabama Dance Academy were so cute and the performances by each of the dancers were absolutely beautiful. It took my breath away.

During the second act there were performances based on six different cultures. My favorite was the Arabian Variation perfomed by Elena Petrichenko and Sergey Chumakov. This dance was mesmerizing and took my breath away. This dance was beautiful.

There is still time to get your tickets for the beautiful Great Russian Nutcracker performed by the Moscow Ballet.

Tickets are On Sale for Moscow Ballet’s acclaimed Great Russian Nutcracker in Most Cities on the 2015 North American Tour!

Make a lifetime of memories this holiday season and take your entire family to see this beautiful story of the Nutcracker performed by the acclaimed Moscow Ballet!

Purina Pro Plan #MenAndCatsContest

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 6:51 AM 0 comments
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by the Role Mommy Writer's Network.

Do you know an extraordinary man with a cat?

Purina Pro Plan is shredding perceptions of both traditional cat food and who typically loves cats by launching the Purina Pro Plan #MenAndCatsContest to celebrate the new Savor Shredded Blend.

Purina Pro Plan is working to change the perception of dry cat food by introducing Savor Shredded Blend, an all-new mealtime experience that combines crunchy kibble and tender meaty shreds to provide both extraordinary nutrition and exceptional taste.

In order to change how people think of who typically loves cats, Purina Pro Plan is partnering with proud cat guy and “Devious Maids” actor Gilles Marini to search for extraordinary men who own and love cats. We are asking that people nominate the cat guys in their lives or that those extraordinary cat guys out there enter themselves by sharing a photo of them with their cat on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #MenAndCatsContest and tagging @ProPlanCat from August 31 – September 14. Those men could be featured in the 2016 Purina Pro Plan Extraordinary Men and Cats Calendar and win a year’s supply of Savor Shredded Blend.

The calendars will be used to raise funds for rescue groups nationwide through the Purina Pro Plan Rally to Rescue network.

For entry details and eligibility requirements and to learn more about Savor Shredded Blend, visit www.proplan.com/MenAndCatsContest and let’s not only change the perception of who loves cats, but also help rescue organizations across the country find loving, permanent homes for cats just like theirs.

One of Life's Most Embarrassing Moments Doesn't Have to Happen with Always Discreet Products- #peehappens #IC #ad

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 3:21 PM 0 comments

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Always Discreet. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Ladies, if you're like me, nobody wants to admit #peehappens at the most inopportune time. Whether I am out and about or playing with my grandkids, I don't want an embarrassing moment like bladder leakage to ruin my day.

Did you know sensitive bladder leaks are a reality for more than 40 million American women? Bladder leakage happens to millions of women everyday and I am one of them. Like many women, I used my period pads for protection, but period pads aren’t designed for bladder leaks. That's why Always Discreet created Disposable Always Discreet Underwear and Always Discreet Pads for when #peehappens.

I threw away my period pads and now use Always Discreet Underwear and Pads for that fresh feeling everyday. Whether I'm out on a special night on the town with my hubby or at my grandson's soccer game, I want to feel my best and not worry about my bladder leakage.

Let's face it ladies, pee is going to happen to most of us and how we deal with it makes a difference. We can hide inside the house, wear old underwear, or act like the problem doesn't exist, but we're just kidding ourselves. #Peehappens but it's time to get out of the house and live a full, enjoyable life!

With Always Discreet products, you can feel normal again and put a spring in your step and not worry about wetness or odor. I love the fact that I can be me again and enjoy life.

Always Discreet products give women the protection they really need, neutralizes odors instantly, and are up to 40 percent thinner than the leading brand and absorb twice as much fluid as women may need.  This is a big plus for me. I love the fact, I don't have to worry about unsightly order and bulky pads. Women want to look and feel feminine and Always Discreet products give femininity a new look. Now women don't have to worry about pee happening. Enjoy being a women and don't sweat #peehappens with Always Discreet Underwear and Pads.

Always Discreet is a name you can trust for bladder leakage protection as Always Discreet was recently granted the Good Housekeeping Seal and named Product of the Year in the bladder protection category.

To keep up to date on more info, be sure to follow Always on Facebook and Twitter and on their website for samples and coupons.

Also introducing Dial® Kids Foaming Hand Wash developed with pediatric dermatologists that makes hand washing fun for all ages!

I no longer have baby's in the house, but when I got the opportunity to try two new Dial® products for baby's and kids, I was thrilled. My grandson is messy, but he also has sensitive skin and being a Dial® family, I wanted something gentle yet effective in getting him clean.

Any parent with a boy knows messy hands are part of life and you also know the importance of keeping messy hands clean and germ free.
